Good Long/Short Hedge Fund names in London and the U.S

Dear all,

Quick word on my background, 2.5 years of BB IBD experience in London, 1 year mega fund (think KKR, Blackstone, TPG etc) PE investing experience in Asia. Would like to go into Hedge Fund in the future.

I am thinking of L/S fund, event driven and special situation funds in London or the U.S (doesnt have to be in NY). Can someone give me a good list of funds there? I am contacting HH already, but would also like to network abit myself as well. So would appreicate a good list of names. thanks guys.

Would definitely check out our Company Database....has 1,000s of Hedge Funds

All the major U.S. Guys have offices in London and there are a number of well-performing European funds, like Eggerton or Lansdowne. A lot of the bigger multi-strats also have L/S, i.e. Brevan Howard or Marshall Wace.

I'm talking about liquid. Rich enough to have your own jet. Rich enough not to waste time. Fifty, a hundred million dollars, buddy. A player. Or nothing. See my Blog & AMA
