MM Internship Pitches

Have two final rounds with P72 and Citadel next week for their undergrad internship programs. I'm not very proud of the short that I have been working on, and I really don't see its thesis playing out. Do y'all think I could get away pitching 2 longs or would my interviewers ask explicitly for a short?

Do you think it's possible that PM will ask for a short specifically?

Can you elaborate please? Like how do these interviews normally go

There’s no set structure, will depend on what they feel like asking. You’ll talk about businesses and stocks, sometimes you can be asked for a short specifically if they want…other times they might not bring up stocks just businesses.

For example, I did the P72 academy and when I interviewed for the summer, I didn’t get asked much about stocks at all, but instead about businesses and what I thought about them.

if the coach/pm wants to ask you for the “worst business you know” or a good business you think is a bad stock (short), then that’s fair too.

Chiming in to see if anybody has any insights on the Citadel CAP process? Having 1st round soon but no clue what is it even going to be about even after research, so slightly lost on what to prepare. (US specific)

I can share more on P72's one (Non-US) in exchange if anybody is keen too. Went through the process last year, and am in the loop for what's going on this year.
