P72 grad program Ldn
Anyone know roughly when the full time Point72 academy program opening is released for London? I’m assuming the experienced professional academy program (which has been released) is not for upcoming grads

Around July. Only seen 2 people across US/UK actually land a role outside of the internship.
How come no one gets into the academy without the internship when they release the FT program every year?
Most people aren’t cut out for it. This isn’t banking where you can take average candidates and they’ll add value to fill a class. If they can’t find enough talented people, they’ll have a smaller class.
Is this inclusive of experienced hires?
How many rounds are there and what does the process look like in Ldn?
Varies, but there’s a pretty large case study that includes building a full model from the ground up. Can then have 3-7 interviews after that.
Anyone done the case study? Is it worth even doing it?
If you have a week free, go for it…
I did a ton of work on it and never got any feedback. Just straight up rejection after 4 weeks (US application).
Typically a given name. Including a full DCF model built from scratch and they require manually input quarterly numbers instead of pulling out data. Also a thesis with unique perspectives on biz model, rev drivers, catalysts and so on. It's almost impossible to complete it within 7 days...esp. most people have a legit job. And the hit rate is quite low - haven't heard anyone got a case debrief or interview yet.
I got past the case last year and had 5 interviews following that, which were very spaced out (August to December) but unfortunately didn’t get the offer. It’s a pretty intense process compared to the summer. Plus London is especially competitive (2 spots for the grad programme I think)
Case is really tough and idk how I got through that tbh - didn’t think mine was all that good. If you haven’t had significant previous modelling experience I’d say it’s pretty impossible.
Do you remember by any chance how long it took for you to hear back from case study ?
Less than a week
