Typical LP/GP Structure with Smaller HFs
Looking at a few emerging managers right now and seeing terms that are kind of all over the place. Is there a good source to find what is normal with emerging managers with small HFs? All funds are fairly small, under $200M AUM.
I have a few sources for emerging manager data in PE but nothing at all for HF. Recommendations?
Do you know anyone who works at a PB desk and can speak to someone on cap intro team? I think I spoke to someone in that role in like early 2019 and they mentioned things like 1 or 30 terms or like 1/10 maybe. Not so sure I remember so well
I know a few private bankers but I'm not sure how competent they are/if I trust them at all. They've all said things that were huge red flags and I doubt they are any good.
Okay
