1 year plan

If you could go back to my current position (1 year away from starting your first IB SA role) what would your “1-year plan” be to become the best possible intern and as knowledgeable as possible.

Please don’t say “enjoy your next year and have fun”. Completely understand the sentiment but I spent my first two years of college drinking, smoking, going out, and generally living an excessively hedonistic lifestyle - looking to transition to a healthier way of life and build some work ethic

One year before your start date? Go have fun, date, genuinely enjoy life and travel. Drink on a week night at the club. Spend time with loved ones. Because once you start you won’t have the freedom to do so. That’s what I did - and no regrets. Only regret is that I wish I did more.
