Accounting Doubt
I’ve seen that the depreciation expense as per the notes to account (explanatory notes) is one figure, but when added back on the cash flow statement, a different figure is used.
I have come across this when I was reading the 10K for Apple Inc. (Fiscal Year 2019).
For ease of reference for Apple 10K 2019-
Depreciation and amortisation as per Cash flow statement ( page 33)
Depreciation amount as per Explanatory notes (page 35)
Accumulated depreciation and amortisation (page 43)
