Australia to New York investment banking

Hi everyone, first time posting on WSO

i am an Australian high school student with a predicted atar of 98(I know it’s not always correct.)

my plan is to study a double degree of engineering and finance, then to break into an Australian BB. After a few years I will transfer to a NYC office. What are the chances of this working, given I am very motivated
