Dress Code Instructions - Training Week

About to start a SA gig in a couple weeks; was told to wear business casual by a banker in an email blast to all interns. Would it be weird to wear the suit/tie first day of training week? Not sure if it's better to just go with the instructions?

Thanks!

Can already tell you're going to be one of the interns that spends an unnecessary extra 20 hours in the office because he's afraid it's a trap when he's told he can go home.

Just wear a suit with no tie. Not that hard

Also, it's training, it's just going to be HR and maybe the occasional presentation from a senior banker who is 5 levels too senior to ever give a shit about anything related to interns. As long as you aren't incredibly obnoxious, it will have no bearing on whether you get a return offer.

They said to wear business casual, show that you can follow instructions and wear business casual. Ya know, pants and a button down/up shirt. No tie, no jacket.
