Experience or Master

Hey, I wanted to know if anyone knows what gives you a better chance in the IB, more experience, for example a Tier 2 bank or a master at a Target to break into a Tier 1 IB.
And what does it look like in the long term? Are there any disadvantages when it comes to advancement opportunities with just a bachelor's degree?
