Culture in industrials is so horrifically bad that it’s almost funny. Almost nobody finishes finishes 2 years. Backgrounds in TMT/FIG tend to be better overall and have (relatively) better cultures which helps come recruiting time.

Obviously splitting hairs here as all coverage groups at GS do well but TMT and FIG are each a different beast when looking at exits.

 

what about healthcare? have heard the culture is similarly atrocious but someone above said that their exits have been amazing

 

Is the culture at industrials really that bad? How does it compare to some of the other sweatier groups on the street? Think Moelis, MS M&A, etc.

 

Most don't finish two years? Isn't that a requirement for top exits?
