Honing in technical skills before FT
Coming from a non-finance background and entering a sweatshop. Wanting to know how to hone in technical skills: is learning accounting, 3 statement model, DCF, LBO, M&A, precedent and market comps modeling sufficient?
And curious how the cookie cutter models for the above (e.g, the stuff learned in WSO/WSP) hold up versus the real thing once the job starts.
Thanks
