How on earth to recruit for PE when back in the office?

As an analyst in London, and at a firm that is going back to the office soon, how do I recruit for the buy side without making it absolutely bloody obvious that I am going out for interviews?

Still tricky in Covid times taking a few hours out, but it’s just blindingly obvious if I leave the office for a few hours when everyone knows I’m not seeing a client.

To those that have made the move in non-Covid times, please tell me how you did this!
