why does it seem like these firms will be selected for this deal?

 

Couldn’t they sell their US arm instead? Like reincorporate it and sell it and then they operate elsewhere?

 

That’s already a lot of core technology… think they’d prefer an exit as well

 

I just know that ARM deal took 15 years off every analysts life... Well this one can take another 15

My bet would be any mix of Qatalyst, MS Menlo, Goldman, Allen, Evercore.
