job adverts legit?
Are the job adverts ligit? For some reason I'm doubtful that anything advertised on an internet forum is going to lead to anywhere you'd actually want to go.

think about it. if all the adverts you see on banking related sites are any use, wouldn't headhunters be out of a job?
I had thought about it that's why I was doubtful. Stop making narky and useless comments.
don't take it so personally. its pure logic. it's like posting a for sale sign on the website of a company when you're runnign a sell side. Good quality assets will naturally attract a lot of interest and don't need to be advertised so broadly. if anything, put yout i-banker hat on, and say you are selling a company and it rocks. You get interest left right and centre and eventually get pissed off because 90% of the calls youre getting aren't top quality buyers. same with good jobs. very rarely / never will a good job be posted so openly where everyone and anyone who has an interest in ibanking can apply.
Remember that this is still a who you know business
Actually, the jobs posted in the Jobs section (http://www.ibankingoasis.com/jobs) are legitimate.
Some are posted by recruiters, others directly by employers...whether or not they are jobs where you'd "actually want to go" is up for each person to decide. If you like what you read in a job description I would encourage you to submit your resume.
I have made an effort to reach out to contacts that would have jobs the users would most likely be interested in...I will be making more of an effort to reach out to employers and recruiters once the site upgrade is complete. I guarantee high quality jobs will continue to be posted into the Job section....and there will be a lot more once I am able to focus on these efforts. for now, I am trying to give you guys some other features you've requested.
Thanks, nychimp
