Lincoln International's culture, including work hours and intensity, can vary significantly from one office to another. For the Los Angeles (LA) office specifically, while the context doesn't provide direct details about the LA office, it's noted that the consumer group at Lincoln International is considered quite intense, or "sweaty," and this intensity isn't uniform across all groups or locations. It's mentioned that industrials, TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecom), and healthcare groups have different reputations.

Given this variability, it's reasonable to infer that the LA office's culture and work hours could also vary depending on the specific group you're inquiring about. It's important to research and possibly reach out to current or former employees for the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding work hours and the overall work environment in the LA office. Networking and direct communication can provide insights that are not publicly available or covered in broad discussions.

Have a buddy over there now and from what I understand it's very sweaty. It's a lean practice so hours can be brutal every blue moon when deal flow gets heavy. Also, word on the street is that the A/C unit blew out last June and hasn't been fixed since. Literally and figuretively, it's moist.

Worked in Lincoln's LA group before lateraling over to another MM on the West Coast. Absolute clown show over there. MDs don't know their left from their right. In terms of hours/sweatiness, definitely one of the worst groups west of the Mississippi. Can't say I saw sunlight for more than 30 minutes a week during my time as an analyst there. Also never worked on a live deal, was only doing pitches (we never won a mandate). Would advise you take an offer almost anywhere else (other than Miller Buckfire, they haze like crazy over there).
