Preparation for Corp Banking Interview
Hi everyone,
I've got an interview for a Corp Banking internship in this division called Global Corporate and Investment Banking. I understand the core focus might be on Corporate Lending, but given the broad title of the division, I'm wondering about the scope of the technical questions.
Do I need to be ready for topics like LBO or other Modeling typically encountered in IB interviews? Any insights or tips would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
Guessing it might be BofA?
Wouldn’t expect any questions surrounding DCF/LBO models. That being said, you should probably know your way around the 3 financial statements.
At the same time, familiarize yourself with the different types of credit facilities (term loans, RCFs, letters of credit, etc) and their own technicalities. Also learn about leverage ratios, credit ratings, and how to assess the credit worthiness of a company.
Learning about other products that might fall under the coverage of corp banking (ie DCM, trade finance, treasury sales, and market derivatives) would be a nice plus.
lol it is.
Thank you a lot and that's really helpful! :)
