Product management at BB

Does anyone have experience or insight into working as a product manager at a bulge bracket bank?

I have 4 years of experience as a product manager and have always been extremely interested in the financial services industry. Recently I've been researching product management positions at bulge bracket banks (Marcus at Goldman Sachs, Onyx at JPMorgan, asset management/wealth management products for clients).

I'm looking to learn what product management looks like at a large institution like GS or JPM. While these teams seem to be positioned as startups within the bank, can anyone share how true comparison is and any details on the pace of development? While I'm sure BBs are more cautious of and sensitive to security/regulatory issues, do these technology product teams compete for talent with other FinTech companies like Robinhood, Venmo, Square, etc?

How are people leaving PM roles at BBs perceived when looking to join a traditional startup or FinTech company? As far as compensation, do  Associate/VP PMs follow the same compensation track as their IB or S&T counterparts?

Thanks for the help.
