Ranking from Most to Least Acceptable - Tassel/chelsea boots/monkstraps/designer sneakers (think clean white oversized mcqueens)

To follow up on another post someone had earlier. Are any of these shoes appropriate for the office? How hard will you get judged. Some of these joints clean af lol

Most Helpful

First question: all fine for office. Perhaps gaudy sneakers could be questionable.

Second question: I don’t get it - do people genuinely judge you on your shoes? I think if your outfit is nice, no one will notice / care about individual components.

Above all, you don’t have to worry if you dress ~slightly~ different than your team. It’s ok to have some uniqueness / personality. Be yourself dude

That said, by formality I’d assume Monkstraps, Chelsea, loafers, sneakers is the order

Good point. Personally I’m a sneakerhead so I always notice people’s shoes. Are Chelsea boots actually fine for the office, personally never seen someone wear them
