Tips on networking with senior bankers?

Hi Chimps,

Hope all is well,

I know it is giving nerdy vibe but I encountered a very interesting situation and I want to pick your guys's brains a bit. I will be hopping on a call with a VP works in a BB in the upcoming weeks. I am not feeling too sure about the best way to go about it.

Pretty sure I should take it more serious rather than talking to Analyst and Associate. I already have the structure of the coffee chat laid out already. Currently just reading up market trends and doing research on the group that he covers to "spice up" our conversation a bit and hopefully get him to be on my good side.

Also his firm's offer for 2025 Summer Analyst are out, (unfortunately, LOL). I think the best way is to really use this opportunity to leverage it to best benefit me in the future?

Thank you guys in advance, any suggestions and insights from yall are greatly appreciated!
