Greenhill Generalist. Blackstone M&A as an actual advisory firm is horrible and does shitty deals or is the 5th bank on bigger Blackstone deals.

Think of their specializations: private company sales, sellside M&A, Fairness -- not really sexy work.

However, I'd argue the BS M&A exits are better than GHL Generalist although both are stellar.

I'd personally take Greenhill generalist for the experience. the exit opp difference isnt substantial enough to justify not taking it.

I had a BS M&A offer full time and decided strongly against going there especially considering the people are kinda akward and not 'fun' socially - if thats an issue for you.

Does BS M&A have any interaction with their PE division? I heard the experience there is stellar and provides the experience needed for great exit ops. Any disagreements?
