Abroad Fall Senior Yr and want to work in IB - Changed my mind

Hey WSOers,

I'll explain the sticky situation I'm in here. Last spring, I thought I wasn't interested in investment banking, but I have since changed my mind. Regardless of what you end up doing, it's the best platform to start a finance-focused career hands down. However, I'm now in the UK, and I'm not sure how to handle the recruitment process.

I interned at an F100 company and got an offer and have to decide whether I want to take in 3-4 weeks, but I don't want it anymore. I have a 3.3 from a top 20 school and passed CFA Level 1. I think my resume is credible, but I feel like I've screwed myself somewhat because the application and interview process is now going on in the states, where my connections are, for FT positions, but I can't interview at all or as effectively if I were home. It's very love-hate because I absolutely love it here, and I know I will look back at the experience as once in a lifetime.

So, is it better to pull every possible rabbit from every possible hat in the states, try to get my foot in the door for some pseudo-interviews at BBs and boutiques and try to fly to NYC for a long weekend to touch base with fraternity or school alums? Or should I use the tools my exchange school and its investment club have at its disposal to try to get a job in London? I assume the correct answer is both, but which do I have a better shot at realistically?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. PM me and I'll send you a blanked resume if you think that'll give you a better idea.
