Advice (MM IB TO BB WM)
Currently a rising junior and doing IB at MM Bank. I have an offer in WM at a BB but realizing I'm more sure of IB bc of my long term goals. How do I go about asking the BB I want to go into IB with them? Do I request to interview rn? Do I wait after summer 2024 internship in WM is over? I don't know what reaction they'll have. I'm realizing it's going to be very difficult to go into IB now. When exactly is 2025 FT recruiting beginning? During my junior year (this school year)? Or the summer during my senior year? It's confusing, and so many places don't do FT interviews. If I continue to network will people from IB even want to talk to an incoming wealth intern?
