This is a moonshot, but I feel like it's worth posting. I have applied to over 300 jobs this summer and have had a few interviews, but no success. I have no professional experience-- all of my finance-related experience comes from class projects. During undergrad I maintained 3.8 GPA at my university while taking 21 hours (including intermediate accounting II) as well as being treasurer of a large student organization during my last semester. My major was accounting and my minor was finance. I made an A in all of the finance classes that I took. I have routinely gone two consecutive days and nights without sleep (sometimes longer) while performing well on tests and presentations. I am very good about hiding when I am tired. I know it doesn't mean anything, but I have my bachelor's at 20. I'm willing to relocate to any city in any English-speaking country as well as Germany and I can work for free for three months. I think that the reason I was not able to land any internships during undergrad because every employer that I interviewed with was concerned about the number of hours I was taking both during the summer and during the fall and spring semesters. I'm looking for entry-level investment banking/PE/trading/quant jobs. If you're a recruiter, shoot me a message and I will send you my resume. If you're not a recruiter, what is your advice for landing an entry-level position? I want to go to grad school, but I refuse to take out any student loans and haven't heard back on any scholarships yet. Surely I can be an asset to some organization?
