Choose gap year internship

In September I will start a master's degree in a top target in Europe. I will then take a gap year to do two off-cycle internships. I have no idea what to aim for. I know that in the long term I wanna be in PE/VC and then start my own investment fund, so I would like to do some internships that will take my closer to that goal. I don't have any relevant experience yet, so I am thinking that I may do my first off-cycle in a random corporate role in an important company, like business analyst or corporate development, because it would be easier to land it. Then I can leverage this internship and my uni brand name to try to go in MBB or IB. I really have no idea what to do yet. I would like to do what leaves more doors open, so that if I don't like it I can change it for my first job after I graduate. I am guessing that maybe it's easier to do the internship in IB and then go for MBB than the other way around? I don't really know
