Comp Ib vs Management Consulting in continental Europe
I am currently in the final stages of completing my Bachelor's degree in Economics at Solvay in Brussels. Following that, I have secured an internship in Asset Management in Paris (AUM) totaling 160 billion EUR. My plan is to pursue a Master's degree in Finance (IE, ESC,...) after completing my internship.
As Spain is my home country, my intention is to return there and make a career choice between Investment Banking (IB) and Management Consulting. However, I have been unable to find relevant information about the compensation and working conditions at MBB across continental Europe and if it's worth it compared to IB in a BB.
I'm also perfectly fluent both in English and French, and I don't know of going back to Spain is the best idea, considering the potentially better lifestyle compared to other European countries, but the compensation and exit opportunities might be different.
Thank you in advance for your answers.
Testarossa, bummer your thread hasn't had a response yet. Sometimes bots are smarter than humans anyways:
