credit vs corporate treasury analyst?
Hi everyone, I am currently a college senior who is about to graduate in May!
I’m having trouble deciding which role to pursue upon graduation, one is a corporate treasury role in jp/ms/gs and the other is a credit role at a top commercial bank. Both are located in the same city and pay is relatively similar, though the first is slightly lower. Many alumni at my college end up at jp/ms/gs while I haven’t seen many go to the second, which is also something I considered, but not anything that really sways me to a certain option.
Ultimately, I would like to take the role that is most beneficial to me long-term in terms of growth, exit opps, etc. but I don’t really have a preference between treasury / credit yet as I have had pretty equal exposure to both and not sure where both could take me. Does anyone have any advice on which one to choose? Thank you!! (Note: I have received an offer at both places, so I need to make a decision on one)
