Don’t want to do PE recruiting

1st year TMT analyst top 3 BB. With headhunters having started reaching out recently, am I the only person who doesn't want to do PE recruiting given it's going to be banking 2.0? I'm more interested in corp dev but given the unstructured process for those jobs it seems like it'd be bad to rely on a good corp dev opportunity coming around. Thoughts?

Agreed, also in TMT at BB and not looking to do the typical PE path. GE / VC / CorpDev seem like interesting paths to go down.

Likely won't be going through this on-cycle PE process and just spending time learning more.
