Double degree from meh college with scholarship vs single degree from prestigious college
Hello,
I was planning on studying a double degree at the University of Auckland studying finance and computer and was also offered a $5000 comp sci scholarship. Just recently, I was offered a place at the Australia National University to study finance. Auckland is ranked 84 on the QS ranking system, while ANU is ranked 27.
I have prospects of joining the banking industry and trying to weigh my options here. Which would be more attractive to an employer, double degree (with average grades, as comp sci will drop by GPA) from a mediocre university with a scholarship or a single degree in finance from the best college in Australia (I will likely start my career from Australia-New Zealand area)?
Hi mistermcsenpai, the silence is deafening, sorry about that.... Any of the threads below helpful?
