Goldman securities interview - help!
I'm interviewing for Goldman securities analyst. seems like they bunched up all of sales, trading, quant, finance positions into one this year. not to mention equities, FI, etc. etc. are all included in this position.
has this been the norm for them? going into my interview, should I know exactly what role/product I want to work with? any advice about the interview would be much appreciated. thanks!
This is the norm. Good job getting it, i know they filled up a lot of spaces with interns in Securities
i didn't even know they were even interviewing for new people outside of their SA class... might explain why offers haven't been given out yet
That sounds retarded - what if an applicant is more interested in FI than equities? Seems like GS has the discretion to place them into whichever group they need to fill.
pm me, i did the internship there this summer and had 14 interviews with them.

I have a phone interview with GS Securities SA.
Can anyone tell me about the phone interview? Is it mostly fit or is it also technical? If so what type of technicals can I expect?
