How do I move into the quant/finance world given my experience thus far?

I have had an interesting career thus far, here are the highlights :

- Studied in the University of Michigan (did not do exceptionally well)
- Worked on Business Intelligence, Corporate Strategy and Project Management for one of Malaysia's Largest Investment Banks
- Worked and a Business Intelligence Specialist and SysAdmin/DevOps for a Marketing/Publishing House
- Picked up Marketing and Digital Analytics and continued to help client's build companies from the ground-up with data-driven growth strategies
-Moved to Australia and have continued helping startups grow (am not a PR yet)

My Skills:

- I am heavily data-driven but not at an advanced level
- I have done a 360 in my career by mastering management, operational, and financial capabilities
- Helped build up 3 marketing agencies by introducing data-driven approaches and highly organized personal frameworks for Digital Marketing and Advertising
- Studied Mathematics in college but did not do so well in regular semesters as opposed to spring and summer semesters. I realised I functioned better when I needed to pick up more in a shorter time. Regular semester's introduced alot of distractions but the school was not willing to restructure the regular semesters for me
- Ability to pick up and learn anything really quickly
-Highly proficient in SQL and Excel

My Plans :

-Possibly picking up some of the Actuarial Papers to prove mathematical aptitude
- Looking for ideas on a non-traditional pathway back to the Quant/Finance/Hedge-Fund world
