How does background check check your under the table employment?
I was in banking and got laid off last year and was offered an under the table job for a family fund where they pay me cash directly. It’s been months and I want to go back to look for a corporate job.
Can I put my under-the-table employment on my resume? Will I pass the background check? I don’t want to have a huge gap on my resume.
I saw people online said the background check doesn’t involve IRS Tax and stuff. They would only call my previous employer to confirm the date.
