How does recruiting work for IB positions in the Middle East?
Is the recruiting process similar to London where you mainly apply online or is networking a must (like in the US)?
Plus what timeline does IB recruiting follow there?
Thanks!

Both work, however networking definitely helps as you can get your CV past the pre-screening phase and straight to interviews.
Timelines for recruiting (at least where I work) is on a “when needed” basis typically for full time and we typically hire twice a year 6 months off-cycle interns (1 or 2 interns per recruitment), with immediate promotion to analyst when the 6 months end if the intern performs well.
Any tips on networking specific to the region?
