How important is GPA after you get SA offer?

Hi all - worked hard to get a strong GPA and recruit into SA position. This semester has been a mess for me. I'm wondering how important college GPA is for: lateraling, buyside opportunities, and MBA programs (opportunities beyond SA)? Is anything 3.7+ solid enough?

I can tell by your name you're an absolute chiller. Good shit bro.

Current first year analyst - understand that for exit opps GPA and test scores do come up so it does matter unfortunately. I think keeping it above 3.5 would be good enough but don’t quote me on it. This is something I wish I knew after getting a return offer.
