how to approach recruiting season

TLDR: I am looking to break into IB, strong preference for London. Not sure how to do it

I just finished a job on Capitol Hill in Washington DC and decided that I hate politics and want to work in finance in London instead. I am 25, US citizen, with a master's degree in Management from a semi target in the UK. I also have a master's from a high target in an irrelevant subject. Is it at all possible to break into an Analyst role like this? what would the timeline be for applying for and starting this role? I am very keen to avoid doing an MBA, and I thought I would ask if anyone had any advice about how to approach this job search
