Investment banking as non-US citizen
Hello everyone, my interest in investment banking has grown rapidly over the past year and i'm sure i want to make this my career. sadly i live in the netherlands so it's very hard to get a career overseas, but hopefully still possible.
i'm 17 years old and going into my second year of my bachelor in accounting at a pretty sh*t uni. so my main proplem is the uni and not being a student/ having a visa in the US.
does anyone know any path i can take to be able to get into investment banking? i've accepted that it'll propably be a regional or middle market bank but it's still more appealing than a career in my home country.
my current thoughts are to finish this bachelor with a good gpa (3.8 is doable), take the SAT and enter my second bachelor at a target/semi-target school. is a second bachelor wise? since i'll be 24 when graduating from this and still having to begin as an investment banker. does anyone know the best path i can take? any help will

Short answer no, you can’t do it at current state
your two options are this.
1) Why do you need to complete your current bachelors? Just give SAT, do well, apply to US colleges and enroll in a U.S. undergrad ASAP. You might be able to transfer some of your Dutch college credits to the US college and then finish degree in 3 years. You can then recruit for IB in US. I think in terms of ease of getting into a school but still being a target, Baruch in nyc seems best option. It’s not a great college experience, education is meh but it has a pipeline into IB
2) finish your Dutch school. Work in accounting, business, finance etc for 2-3 years, give GMAT and apply for a top 15 MBA. Then aim for associate IB recruiting.
