London Analyst Lateral Market

Hi,
Understand that this has been raised a couple of times in the last 1-2 years but wanted to ask for a fresh perspective on the London lateral hiring market.
Starting at a mid tier bank this autumn and am targeting a move to GS/MS/JP for exit reasons
Any insight on the current and projected state of the analyst lateral market and for any advice on making it happen
Thanks!

Check the other thread that was recently started

Basically lateral hiring is dead - i imagine until this time next year

Will check it out, for when the market does pick up are there any HHs I should get in touch with in particular and should I start my networking now?

Thanks

How does it usually work? Still less emphasis on networking or slightly more due to ad hoc hiring?
