Looking for Advice/Guidance

I recently graduated Drexel University, cum laude, with a degree in Finance and Business Analytics, waste in my opinion. If anyone is interested in going there because of the co-op program, stay clear and stick with the traditional route. Works for some but during my time there it did not work out for the majority. I tried to transfer out of Drexel when I noticed not being on the traditional recruiting cycle and not having a good time in general. My parents and I split the tuition but it was their way or the highway and I had to "finish what I started." I stuck it out, got my grades up and graduated early but during that time I believe I lost myself, and I think it is truly hindering any interviews I get ahold of. Trying to fix this issue, so any guidance on that would be beneficial also.

But anyway, I have been looking for jobs since last October giver-or-take and have absolutely no luck. I did the co-ops and my last one was with a pretty good long only high yield and equity shop, where I began studying for the CFA, which I just took yesterday. I did the networking reaching out to people, wrote letters, and even made a trip to NYC to sit and talk with some guys, none of this has gotten me anywhere. I have reached out to some directly and had my application instantly denied, never heard back from them. I have applied to several hundred jobs across the country to never hear back from the majority of them, I would rather hear a no than nothing at all. I am just wondering if I am doing something wrong or if anyone has any guidance and tips on what to do. Getting harder and harder everyday and I truly do not want to back to my og career choice of doing masonry.

You're probably going to have to start out in internship or temp positions, possibly unpaid to gain experience and recommendations.

How much experience is needed? I interned with the buyside shop for a year.

Just keep interning until they give you a FT offer or until you find another FT position.
