Receiving offer but just requested for in person interview?

Curious how people would navigate this situation...  East coast based - I may be receiving an offer soon, but just received a request to interview in person for another role in a different city in the region I'm interested in moving to. The company I may receive an offer for is a really good option, but can't help but want to see the other opportunity through. A bird in hand is better than two in the bush... right...? How would you handle this?

Would say this depends.

What is the current role you will (may?) receive an offer from? How certain? Is this a platform/team you absolutely want to be in?

What is the other role in the other city? If you want to be in said city on the near term horizon regardless, I would absolutely take this interview (assuming the role is what you want)

So the roles are very similar in terms of roles and responsibilities the biggest difference being that the company in the other city that wants me to interview for is a bigger company. If I received both offers at the same time, I would more than likely accept the one in the new city. With that said, I could lose out on both if I were to pass on the first in order to try and get the second. I'm not sure if there really is a way to navigate interviewing for the other without turning down the first...
