Risk monitoring and AML intern to leverage to strategic consulting

A new opportunity came by and I have to choose between accepting and refusing this job offer.
Background:
I'm currently finishing my bachelor's degree in economics and I'm working in a corporate as business development intern. I'd like to break through strategic and management consulting in the future and I was wondering if Risk monitoring and AML would be a good start and if it's possible to leverage this experience.
PS: The company is a leading player in Europe on alternative asset management.
