Should I have done IB?

I graduated last year and started in MBB. I interned at GS/JPM IB the summer before and chose not to go full time because of hours/lifestyle/not knowing if I wanted to do finance or PE/and didn’t know what industry I wanted to be in.
However since starting MBB I’ve been underwhelmed by the experience and am miserable. I feel like I learn very superficially about an industry before hopping onto the next project. I also absolutely hate traveling, because it messes up my diet, workout and sleep routines. Hours are obviously better but they still suck and mostly I hate working out of random other offices and planes and cars as opposed to working in one place where I’m comfortable like IB. It’s going to be very hard to make it to the second year mark for me, and I want to leave earlier to be honest.
I’m now thinking I should’ve maybe done IB. Or maybe lateral to a finance position in the future when the market is better. What are your thoughts on what I should do?
Mainly I want a position that doesn’t have travel or very infrequent travel. I can handle relatively long hours if they’re in a comfortable setting like work from home or one office.

Personally I think MBB exit opps are better than IB atm. Lots of cos would rather hire consultants than ex-ib

Sure IB you're not travelling much, but hours are prob the same all things considered, I don't think it would be much better
