Temp Agency, Background Checks...PLEASE HELP

Apparently this topic was inappropriate for the I-Banking Discussion, so perhaps this is a more appropriate place.

I'm hoping you guys can help me out. I'm a rising junior at a semi-target. Last summer I had a BB PWM internship in NYC. Because I transferred schools, I was forced to take summer classes at my new school in order to ensure that I graduate on time. Because of this, I was locked out of many of the structured internship programs.

I will probably be able to work with the same adviser for at most a couple weeks at the end of this summer, but besides that, I have NO other options. I need money, and the only thing I know I can do right now is work for a temp agency (just to make money).

This obviously wouldn't go on my resume, and I can probably still write that I worked at the BB for part of the summer. The only thing I'm worried about is that when I apply for next summer and they do a background check, they'll see that I worked at a temp agency for part of this summer, and they won't see that I worked at the BB because it will be directly for the adviser and not officially through the bank. Also, in the application process, they usually ask for my past 3 employers; thus, I'd have to put the temp agency down.

Will this look bad? Should I not work for the temp agency and figure out something else?

Your advice is appreciated.

Well to MonteCarlo, he's 100% wrong. If you've followed any of my posts, I'm not going to say I'm guaranteed a FT offer, but the chances are incredibly strong due to the program I'm in. No further comment.

In that case, great. Although I would like to follow your posts, that feature isn't available yet on the site.
