Thinking about switching from IB to S&T

I am a 1st year Analyst working in IB at a middle level bank. I have an offer to working in structuring in S&T and am contemplating taking it. I am curious to thoughts on exit opportunities and lifestyle differences.Ultimately what I am looking for is better WLB and a more quantitative role (I come from a math background) and I have always wanted to work with derivatives.what are your thoughts on how these lines of work compare to each other? As well as exit opportunities and career progression going forward. At this point I am very certain I would prioritize WLB.
