Tips for TMT IB networking calls?

So I recently had a networking call with an analyst and asked him for some feedback near the end of the call. He recommended that I look into the industry that I am interested in (in this case, TMT) and ask some specific questions about the type of work within that industry. I was wondering, what would be some specific questions about TMT IB that I could potentially ask during networking calls?

I don't normally care too much about people asking these sorts of questions when I'm talking to college students, but I'm sure there are others who do. The goal of asking these questions is to show that you are interested in the industry you are applying to (TMT), You are basically trying to show that you've done some research and at least follow it on a basic level.

An easy question to ask can be related to the fact that tech companies (especially those that enable remote working) are doing really well during this time. A question could be to ask the other person's thoughts on this and if they think that these tech companies will continue to grow at a rapid pace even after in-office working becomes normal again. This question has a pretty clear answer but I'm sure you can come up with more interesting questions that can show that you are actively thinking about the TMT sector.
