Undergraduate degree cutoffs
As the title suggests, I wanted to get an idea of how people feel about the degrees of applicants coming out of school.
I'm graduated from a semi-target in financial economics (Hon. Bachelor of Science) and took 1 accounting course (1st year) and about 5 corporate finance courses later in my degree. I've had people tell me to not bother recruiting because I havent been trained for business, but others have. I've also done my CFA level 1 and an assortment of certs.
Would my degree disqualify me from recruiting at anything more than a 10 person boutique? And if so, is my only option to do an MBA after 3 yrs of random work? Interested to hear thoughts on it.
