US Bank

my bud works at US bank and has a lot of great connections.. he knows that he can do a lot better at a big bank like JPM and somewhat would rather move that direction in the future. whats your guys thoughts on taking FT at USB and then moving over.. or has anyone ever heard of using a contact at a firm to make contact with someone at another?

helping me, helps him. so we'd both appreciate it.

My uncle got a Financial Analyst position at USBank in MN as his first job after finishing his MS Finance (This was in the early 90s) from a non-target and got an IB role after 5 years at us bank. He is a MD (i think) now and that is all I know. Sorry that I can't be of more help but I've heard that USBank is a great place to start a career, esp for nontargets looking to get that first job and then move into IB.
