Visa Sponsorship at London Investment Banks

Hi Guys,

I would like to ask, does the need for Visa Sponsorship in the UK put me into disadvantage when applying to investment banks in London for Summer Internship? I currently have Student Visa that allows me to  work without sponsorship. I am not planning to lie on my application when the question is if I will need sponsorship in the FUTURE I will select YES even though I wouldn't need it for the SA role I am applying to, just in case FT offer afterwards. Just want to know if this will put me in disadvantage compared to others who don't need Visa, especially now when the work visa system changed.

Thanks for the help

Yes, I can apply for the new graduate visa that grant me two additional years without sponsorship. However, after those 2 years I will still need the traditional work visa.

Thanks for the help.

cyberpunk in your opinion, am I answering the Visa questions correctly like this:

1. Are you legally authorised to work in selected country (UK)?  YES (as student visa allows me to work)

2. Will you now or in future require a sponsorship for visa? YES (explained above)

Is it alright to answer both questions YES? or should always one of them be NO?

Thanks for help

Awesome, thanks for help. When you were answering the visa questions, how did you answer these 2 questions that are always on the online application? Also am I answering the Visa questions correctly like this?

1. Are you legally authorised to work in selected country (UK)?  YES (as student visa allows me to work)

2. Will you now or in future require a sponsorship for visa? YES (explained above)

Is it alright to answer both questions YES?

Thanks for help
