Weak GPA as a sophomore from a semi-target

Hey all,

I'm a sophomore currently studying at a midwestern semi-target. I'm involved on campus and a member of a banking program that significantly aides in recruiting but my GPA is weak at around 3.6.

It's fully my fault for not staying on top of my shit but with my parents getting older, less mobile, and getting laid off, it's been really hard to keep my head in the game.

How should I go about recruiting? If my GPA comes up in chats should I be honest and explain my situation at home? Sorry if it seems like a stupid question, just not entirely sure what to do.
