Whats the leading bank in biontech/pharma?
I am currently a student in Germany and I am ready interested in pharma and biontech. Through Google I saw lots of deals, but I wanted to ask, in your opinion which bank(s), is/are the industry leader in the biontech/pharma.
In the US Centerview is very strong at biotech and generally JPM, MS, GS all are good in broader biopharma
For Pharma in Europe, Rothschild is the undisputed leader in terms of deal volume. GS, JPM, and MS are leaders if you're looking at pharma deal value. Average deal sizes for these banks is usually in the $3bn+ range vs. sub $1bn for Rothschild. Thus if you're just starting as an intern or a junior Roth is a better place to be imo.
such a clown comment - Rothschild does PE sell sides. They don't do Biotech / don't even have the capabilities to do it given their lack of US presence.
Top pharma / biotech players in Europe are in this order (JPM, MS / Evercore, GS, everyone else)
