Intro from Los Angeles

Hi everyone, nice to meet you here!

I'm currently a MFE student in UCLA Anderson Business School. Previously I have worked for EY in China for over 5 years as an senior auditor, however, I found myself more interested in quantitative finance and planned to switch my career into quant trading. But it seems a bit difficult as I've already an experienced expert in accounting and auditing, like “half-stereotyped”, in my career path. Despite the difficulties, I'm now trying my best to find internships related to quant analysis/trading as I really enjoy coding and stimulation in Matlab, R and SAS and want to develop my own trading strategies.

I know WSO from my friend and my near objective here is to find my summer internship and a further full-time job. I'm also willing to answere any questions related to Big 4, accounting and auditing and financial engineering (if I can) with pleasure.

Thank you for all your future suggestions and assistance, I really appreciate it.

Best,
Jie
