I don't have any answers to your question but I just would like to share a piece of advice with you. Do you see the time you posted this 2:37am on a SUNDAY? Do you realize that most people frequent this message board during business hours? Then you bumped this post again at 10:58am...on a monday which is also a holiday...I would suggest you be a little more patient and look around a bit, so that you can get the answer you're looking for, also you need to be more clear on your questions, you didn't list any factors..if you live right next to work do you really think you need a car...?

The answer to your question is 1) network 2) get involved 3) beef up your resume 4) repeat -happypantsmcgee WSO is not your personal search function.

Hey sorry about that. I completely forgot it was a holiday, and yeah, Saturday night ramblings, my bad.

I understand a car wouldn't be needed if I live by work, but from researching the area, it seem way too expensive for me to live in the city. I am wondering where most Menlo Park analyst reside given the cost of living there, and whether or not those areas are easily accessible via public transportation like the Caltrain. My main question is what should I ask for salary though.
